This summer, on the occasion of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Maison Suisse (House of Switzerland) will be set up in the garden of the Swiss Embassy in France, located in the 7th arrondissement. The Swiss bathroom brand LAUFEN will equip this inclusive space with stylish restrooms and bathrooms, featuring one of its flagship collections: Kartell • LAUFEN.

This exceptional location, extending to approximately 1,100 square metres, will be open to the public and aims to showcase the diversity and richness of Swiss culture. It will be a welcoming place for everyone, a true haven of peace, where visitors can follow all the highlights of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Swiss values of tradition and modernity, friendliness and excellence will be illustrated through a restaurant concept that reinvents Swiss culinary classics, as well as through concerts, performances, stand-up comedy, art exhibitions, and activities and festivities for all ages.

An innovative and sustainable construction, the Maison Suisse captures attention with its unique architecture. Built from scaffolding and adorned with textiles, the structure creates an impressive space in the heart of the Swiss Embassy garden. The choice of materials is not only aesthetically pleasing but also practical and virtuous: the scaffolding will be recycled and reused on construction sites after the event, highlighting the importance of sustainability and ecological innovation.

The Swiss bathroom brand LAUFEN will enhance this welcoming space with stylish restrooms and bathrooms, showcasing its flagship collection, Kartell • LAUFEN. Reflecting the sustainable values of the construction, the washrooms feature low-flush WCs and faucets with unique water and energy-saving technologies. LAUFEN is dedicated to contributing significantly to a more sustainable world, not only through its product design but also through a commitment at every level—from design decisions and material selection to complex manufacturing processes and product distribution.
