The ceramic body elegantly conceals the intelligence behind the Cleanet Riva. The two-piece construction simply has to be plugged-in, in order to assemble the Cleanet Riva: High-tech features disappear discreetly in the WC. Wireless here also means a cable-free construction. The European requirements including the drinking water standards EN 1717 have been met.
The stainless steel button at the side is easy to reach and controls a selection of the shower functions required for daily use. One hand movement is sufficient to activate the water jet and control its intensity and position, so that these functions do not have to be located on the remote control unit. It also allows the selection of stored user profiles. The additional, convenient touch screen remote control offers extended settings and displays further service information.
The Cleanet Riva shower toilet — developed and produced in Switzerland — has an integrated, high-quality design using ceramic material. This makes the Cleanet Riva look like a standard toilet and only a stainless steel rotary knob on the toilet seat indicates additional comfort. Timeless aesthetics, ideal for high-quality bathroom interiors. The toilet won the Red Dot Award and other prizes for its holistic design approach.
Designer Peter Wirz (Vetica Design Studio, Lucerne) about the shower toilet: "The Cleanet Riva was designed with a vision of pure simplicity at the core of our work. Consumers do not want an electronic toilet that looks like a machine.
The complete water system on the inside of the Cleanet Riva is regularly and hygienically cleaned with hot water at 70 °C. A descaling function also removes limescale from the system — depending on the hardness of your drinking water — which ensures a long service life. Service information on the remote control and the indicator light on the toilet indicate when the cleaning and descaling processes need to be started.
